A jam as fresh, sunny and fragrant as a spring afternoon.
The Dalpian farm cultivates its berries on land within the Beigua Natural Park in the Genoa hinterland. The ripe strawberries are cooked only with sugar, in small pots according to the traditional method to dry the jam without using thickeners or anything else: finally, old rose petals picked in the morning are added.
A perfect jam to accompany the five o'clock tea; it is the perfect ingredient to garnish desserts and sweets, such as panna cotta, a slice of cheesecake, whipped cream and good ice cream.
An intriguing idea in combination with cheeses, e.g. crottin and fresh goat cheese.
