Over time, the Ramoino winery has carefully chosen to cultivate its vineyards in the soils that best express the vines they have chosen for their bottles - the whites Pigato and Vermentino, the reds Ormeasco and Rossese - respecting the vocation of the grapes and acquiring various plots throughout the province of Imperia: which is why today Ramoino's vineyards grow in Dolceacqua and Camporosso (the Rossese); Pornassio (Ormeasco); Sarola, Bestagno, Borgomaro and Ortovero (the Pigato and Vermentino). So too are their cellars where the great work done in the vineyard is brought to fruition: from the first founded in the 1950s in Sarola (a village behind Imperia) to the one in Dolceacqua.
