Bianchetta Genovese Golfo del Tigullio Portofino DOC 0,75L

A soft, dry Ligurian white, this wine goes best with traditional local dishes, from vegetable pies to pasta al pesto.

It is an excellent wine for an aperitif, but also for a snack or brunch when accompanied by strips of focaccia genovese.

The Pino Gino winery is located in the green heart of the Tigullio (the Gulf between the Portofino promontory and the Cinque Terre) in an area with a centuries-old vocation for wine-growing: in the valley that runs from the sea to the Apennines, around Castiglione Chiavarese the Benedictine monks chose these hills in the Middle Ages as the site for their Abbey where they began to cultivate vines.

Serving recommendations: 12-14°C in tall-stemmed goblets.
