Courgette pie 200g

Savoury courgette pie made in the kitchen of the Genoese trattoria Cavour modo21.

Great for your hors d'oeuvre but also as a one-pot meal to take as lunch at the office. It does not need to be reheated, you can even leave it out of the fridge before eating it until it has reached room temperature. This is how savoury pies are traditionally eaten in Genoa, but nothing forbids you from eating it warm as well.

With a rustic and fragrant flavour, the pie is made with a sheet of pastry and then courgettes, cheese, eggs and marjoram, which gives it that perfect aromatic kick.
