Chestnut Jam 290g (Calizzano chestnuts, Slow Food Presidium)

Ca di Voi's chestnut jam is made with chestnuts from the Calizzano Slow Food Presidium: these chestnuts are still dried using the ancient and natural method of heat and smoke, burning wood inside ‘tecci’, the stone dryers typical of the area of Alta Val Bormida in the Savona hinterland.

The Calizzano chestnut has a roasted flavour with smoky undertones. An aromatic and sweet jam that will become your new alternative to commercial spreads: you will feel the difference!
